Steps to buy DSC Online

It is possible to buy Digital Signature fully online. The process is called as Paperless DSC.

Upload scanned copies of supporting documents, and there is no need to send notarized proof documents by post.

For Class-2 DSC (Individuals), applicant needs to just upload scanned copies of PAN Card, a proof of address, and a passport size photograph. After approval, download Digital Signature online.

Paper-less process is available for all Classes of Digital Signature - for both Individuals and Organizations.

Following are the simple steps for paper-less process after payment:

  • Step 1: Receive automatic e-mail with link to open CA Portal.
  • Step 2: Enter Name, E-mail, Phone Number, and create new KYC ID / PIN.
  • Step 3: Upload proof documents - (e.g.) PAN Card, Proof of Address, and a passport size photo.
  • Step 4: Record Video using phone or laptop. Read statement shown on screen.
  • Step 5: Certifying Authority will approve Digital Signature application (eMudhra or Capricorn).
  • Step 6: Download DSC Certificate and store on a USB cryptographic token (e.g. ePass2003).
